This accolade, synonymous with on-court excellence, acknowledges Reed’s exceptional performances during an undefeated week that saw the Lady Tigers secure three crucial wins against district rivals. Demonstrating a unique blend of scoring finesse, rebounding prowess, and defensive tenacity, Reed’s contributions were nothing short of extraordinary.

Marksville High School’s dominance over their district opponents was made possible, in large part, by the standout performances of Anneshia Reed. Notably, in a stellar showing against Caldwell, Reed achieved the elusive triple-double, amassing an impressive 13 points, 12 rebounds, and an astounding 10 steals—an accomplishment that underscored her versatility and impact on the game.

Throughout the week, Reed consistently showcased an exceptional level of play, averaging double-digit points and rebounds in each contest. Her authoritative presence in the paint proved to be a game-changer for the Lady Tigers, as she averaged an impressive 14 points and 12 rebounds per game.

Beyond her offensive prowess, Reed’s defensive capabilities were equally noteworthy, with an average of five steals per game. Her ability to disrupt opponents’ plays and create scoring opportunities for her team displayed a basketball IQ beyond her years.
