LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association revealed Friday afternoon that seven student-athletes from the state of Louisiana are have been voted 2021 NFCA High School All-Region.

Among those chosen for the All-South Region squads were four selections from West Monroe, two of which were first-team honorees. Ponchatoula placed two student-athletes on the All-Region teams while St. Thomas More listed one on the first team.

NFCA member coaches from each region’s respective committee selected the honorees, and those recipients are now eligible for the 2021 NFCA High School All-America squads.

The 2021 NFCA High School All-America teams will be announced on July 16.

NFCA All-Region and All-American athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coach, are voted for by the coaches in their region or division, and ultimately selected by elected All-American committee members to receive this prestigious accolade.
