St. Joseph’s Academy Girls XC Named Team of the Week

The GeauxPreps Team of the Week presented by Magnolia Property Management shines a spotlight on excellence in Louisiana high school sports, and this week, we are thrilled to honor the St. Joseph’s Academy girls cross country team for its stellar performance at the 44th annual Episcopal Round Table Run.
The Redstickers, defending their 2022 state title run, left no room for doubt as they set the pace early in the season. The prestigious Episcopal Round Table Run served as the stage for their remarkable performance, and they seized the opportunity with unwavering determination.
Leading the charge for the St. Joseph’s Academy team was none other than senior sensation Grace Rennhoff, whose performance left spectators and competitors in awe. Grace’s astonishing time of 17 minutes and 50.29 seconds secured her the runner-up position, a testament to her dedication and training.
However, the Redstickers’ triumph at the Episcopal Round Table Run was not just about individual achievements. It was a collective effort that showcased their depth, unity, and undeniable talent. The St. Joseph’s Academy girls cross country team dominated the competition, amassing a total of 28 points, a figure that left their rivals in the dust.
To put this achievement in perspective, they finished a staggering 81 points ahead of the runner-up, Mt. Carmel, solidifying their status as the team to beat this season.
