St. Thomas More; Catholic-BR lead RedZone Cup Standings After Fall Sports

The Red Zone Fundraising Cup is an accolade designed to honor the exceptional achievements of Louisiana high schools in various LHSAA sanctioned sports. This prestigious award, incorporating both boy’s and girl’s sports, meticulously tallies points from all current LHSAA-sponsored sports. The victorious school will receive a splendid, customized trophy as a testament to their outstanding sportsmanship and athletic prowess. Additionally, the winner will be prominently featured on GeauxPreps.com, providing them with well-deserved recognition across the state.
St. Thomas More captured three state titles in the sports of football, girls swimming and volleyball to take the overall points lead with 475. E.D. White remains close behind with 455 total points while Ruston (362), Metairie Park Country Day (360) and Episcopal of Baton Rouge (350) round out the top 5.
The Cougars lead the girls field with state championships in two of three completed sports while Catholic of Baton Rouge head up the boys field with 250 total points and two state title finishes.
