J.T. Curtis Ties National High School Coaching Wins Record with Historic 621st Victory
In a historic moment that left the football world in awe, John Curtis Patriots’ head coach, J.T. Curtis, reached a monumental milestone with his 621st career victory. The Patriots dominated the field, sealing a resounding 26-7 victory over Brother Martin in a highly anticipated rematch of last season’s state title game.
Coach J.T. Curtis now stands shoulder to shoulder with the all-time national high school football coaching wins record holder, setting the stage for an epic showdown next week. The game against Edna Karr could propel Curtis past the late John McKissick of Summerville (S.C.) High School, etching his name in the annals of football history.
After a brief setback with a couple of losses, Curtis and his team have ignited a remarkable three-game winning streak. For Curtis, who has dedicated 55 seasons of his illustrious career to his namesake school, this record has always seemed an inevitable destiny.
