More Than A Game.. Richwood Football Players Give Their Life To Christ

Richwood football coach Marcus Yanez runs a tight ship within his program. The team follows the same itinerary each Friday before game time with no excuses and there is to be no deviating from that schedule.

Yanez was thankful at the end of the day that God led him to stray away from his Friday game plan.

Following a pre-game devotion, 10 of his players made a decision to give their life to Christ. A kiddie pool filled with water was used to baptize those players as teammates watched on encouraging their brothers along the way.

We tend to forget that football is more than a game. It’s a brotherhood.

Those 10 players who decided to submit their lives to the one true King, will never struggle with the ultimate coach by their side in the game of life.
