Catholic League rivals meet again; Rummel and John Curtis set to clash in Select Division I State Semi-Finals

While their two teams – No. 2 Parkview (31-6) and No 3 University (26-8) – battle for supremacy in the Division III select bracket in a 2 p.m. semifinal – Morgan and Hawke share a mutual respect, and a perspective of the game, derived from their time playing for iconic UL-Lafayette baseball coach Tony Robichaux.

When the 2024 LHSAA Ochsner Baseball state tournament gets under way Tuesday at Sulphur’s McMurry Park, Glenbrook’s Tony and Easton Sanders will be among the few father-son duos vying for a state title together.
