2021 LHSAA Football Prep Classic Set For Kick-Off On Friday

LHSAA PREP CLASSIC CENTRAL | TICKET INFORMATION
NEW ORLEANS – Following a one-year hiatus due to the worldwide pandemic, the LHSAA Prep Football Classic makes its return to the Caesars Superdome to crown state champions in six classifications.
GeauxPreps.com will be in attendance at the 41st annual event to provide social media updates, stories, photos and other features for each of the six games. Fans can follow along by like the Facebook page or following on Twitter by looking up @GeauxPrepsLA.
The Prep Classic opens up with the Division IV State Championship between No. 1 Ouachita Christian and No. 2 Southern Lab, followed by the Class 2A state title game featuring returning champion Many and challenger Amite. The first day concludes with the Class 4A State Championship contest featuring Warren Easton and Westgate.
The final day of games is sure to excite the fans in attendance as No. 1 Logansport and No. 2 Homer battle it out in the Noon Class 1A state title game. In a rematch of District 2-3A foes, the Class 3A State Championship pits No. 1 Sterlington against No. 7 Union Parish with kickoff set for a 3:30 start. No. 1 Zachary and No. 3 Ponchatoula will close out the Prep Classic when they compete for the Class 5A State Championship at 7 p.m.
All nine contests will be live streamed for a fee via the NFHS Network. Jeff Palermo has been tabbed to call the action for each game of the annual championship event.

CASHLESS OPERATION
The Caesars Superdome is a cashless operation including all concessions, merchandise, and parking. CLEAR BAG POLICY
All bags are prohibited other than clear vinyl bags no larger than 12″ wide x 12″ height x 6″ deep, Gallon Size Ziploc Bags and Small Clutch Purses no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a handle or strap. Outside Food & Drink, Cans, Bottles, Weapons, Fireworks, Contraband, Fanny Packs, Back Packs, Video Cameras, Cameras with lens exceeding 6”, Recording Devices, Sticks/poles/Selfie Sticks, GoPros, Beach balls, Laser Pointers, Mace, Artificial Noisemakers, Drones, Whistles and Containers of any kind are prohibited on Mercedes-Benz Superdome property. Any other items determined unacceptable by management will also be prohibited. VACCINATION & TESTING
As required by the City of New Orleans for entry into our venues for events, all ticketholders age 12 and above, staff, vendors and participants must provide evidence of 1) a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to entering the event or 2) having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.Prior to entry, each person may present their verified digital proof of vaccination (LA Wallet or other official government sanctioned app) or an original, digital photograph or photocopy (both sides) of their CDC vaccination card. They may also present an official vaccination record issued by another state, foreign nation of the WHO. In lieu of vaccination, you may also present a negative PCR or antigen test result that has been taken within the last 72 hours.
