Multiple LHSAA Football Teams Forfeit Upcoming Playoff Games

According to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s website, as of 11:30AM on Monday, Nov. 23, the following teams have forfeited their playoff games:

Class 1A:

Tensas has forfeited its game to Centerville. Centerville will now play Oberlin in the second round next week.

Class 2A:

Ferriday will have a bye following a forfeit from East Feliciana. The Trojans will play winner of Port Allen/Pine in next round.

Many will now advance to the Regional round following a forfeit from Varnado. The Tigers will play the winner of South Plaquemines/Franklin.

Class 3A:

Lake Charles Prep will now advance to the next round following a forfeit from Caldwell Parish. The Trailblazers will play the winner of South Beauregard/Iowa.

Class 4A:

Carencro advances to the next round following a forfeit from Woodlawn-SH. The Bears will play the winner of the DeRidder/Lakeshore game.

Division II:

Vandebilt Catholic will advance to the next round following a forfeit from Haynes Academy. Vandebilt will play winner of U-Lab/Evangel contest.
